NFL news roundup: Rams agree to terms with RB Ronnie Rivers; Steelers adding DT Daniel Ekuale

In recent NFL developments, both the Los Angeles Rams and the Pittsburgh Steelers have bolstered their rosters with key signings.

Los Angeles Rams Re-sign Running Back Ronnie Rivers

The Rams have agreed to terms with running back Ronnie Rivers on a one-year deal, bringing him back for his fourth season with the team. Notably, the Rams chose not to tender Rivers as a restricted free agent last week, yet have now opted to retain him.

Pittsburgh Steelers Sign Defensive Tackle Daniel Ekuale

The Steelers have strengthened their defensive line by signing former New England Patriots defensive tackle Daniel Ekuale. Ekuale started all 16 games for the Patriots in the 2024 season, recording 36 tackles and two sacks. He joins a Steelers defensive line that includes veterans like Cam Heyward and emerging talents such as Keeanu Benton.

These strategic signings reflect both teams’ efforts to enhance their respective rosters ahead of the upcoming NFL season.
