Ahead of the 2025 Formula 1 season, Lewis Hamilton is set to make a move to Ferrari, with the team holding a significant lead over Hamilton’s current team, Mercedes, after four races in the ongoing 2024 season.
Ferrari’s CEO, Benedetto Vigna, has cautioned that despite Ferrari’s strong start to the 2024 season, there’s still work to be done before Lewis Hamilton’s anticipated arrival in 2025, marking the end of his lengthy tenure with Mercedes.
The seven-time world champion is poised to transition to the Italian team, which currently sits close behind reigning constructors’ champions Red Bull in the 2024 season standings, while Hamilton’s Mercedes team trails behind.
After four races, Ferrari has accumulated 120 points compared to Red Bull’s 141, achieving at least one podium finish in each Grand Prix. Their success included a one-two finish in Australia, with Carlos Sainz leading teammate Charles Leclerc to the checkered flag.
